YOUR MISSION

Welliba is looking for a professional cloud engineer who can take up the responsibilities of deploying and running our applications on Microsoft Azure.

As a cloud engineer at Welliba you will play a vital role in developing new software and elevating its quality using the latest technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement new features for our clients.

YOUR JOB
  • Support & further development of our infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
  • Maintenance of our IaC (Infrastructure as Code) base for central resources with a strong emphasis on security.
  • Overview of Resource Groups & regular evaluation of our deployments (e.g. for necessity and security requirements)
  • Assist the developers with Azure-specific deployment problems Support concept and content creation for new product features.
  • Stay updated with new technology trends, best practices and security.
  • Collaborating closely with other teams

 

YOUR PROFILE
  • You have experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure) and infrastructure-as-code software (Terraform).
  • You have practical knowledge of common technologies (e.g. microservices, containers, APIs), concepts (e.g. CI/CD, CQRS) and corresponding programming languages (e.g. Python) and tools (e.g. Git, GitHub, Kubernetes/Docker, PowerShell).
  • You have some expertise in network & security and managing SQL & NoSQL services.
  • You have exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • You are eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment following agile routines within the development team.
  • You have strong communication skills in English (writing and speaking), advanced German skills are also a plus.
  • You have a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • You are located in or around Hamburg (Northern Germany area).
